ROY TURNER, 56 , of Red Bud, Illinois, formerly of Chester, Illinois, joined his grandmother and brother, Bradley, in heaven on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
He was born to Elsie (nee Moranville) Turner on February 6, 1968 in Murphysboro, Illinois.
Roy married the love of his life and best friend, Jaimie, on May 26, 2007 in Renault, Illinois.
Roy made a living as a quality control manager for Falling Springs Quarry in Dupo, Illinois.
Roy loved his family and spoiling his grandsons. He was best known as “Papa” and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Roy was rarely seen without a smile and never met a stranger. Roy’s quick-witted humor made it hard for those around him not to laugh.
