Ruth N. Johnson

RUTH N. JOHNSON , 95 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 10:00 pm, Monday, June 15, 2020 at her residence.

She was born to the late Benjamin R. and Lydia (nee Watkins) Tiller on April 12, 1925 in Chester, Illinois.

In 1946, Ruth married Alvin Frazer, who preceded her in death in 1954. On March 13, 1959, she married Ralph Johnson; he survives.

Ruth was a homemaker most of her life. She worked at the Shoe Factory and Ben Franklin Store before her marriage. She was a member of First Christian Church of Chester.

It was Ruth’s wish to be cremated.
