Sharon Dale Owen

SHARON DALE OWEN, 89, of Rolla, Missouri, passed peacefully from this earth on Monday, November 11th, 2024.

Sharon was born on January 26, 1935 in Chester, Illinois and was the eighth child of Jesse and Effie (nee Parker) Nance. Sharon graduated from Chester High School in 1952 and soon made her way out to the West Coast, where she spent most of her adult life.

Sharon married her true love, Keith Gordon Owen in California and spent her years there raising a family and working first as a bank clerk and secretary before earning her real estate license. Sharon then became a property manager for various realtors, a trade at which she excelled for more than thirty years. When she retired, Sharon chose to return to the Midwest, living with her sons in Missouri and visited her hometown of Chester frequently.

Sharon was an outgoing person with an easy-going sense of humor, and was particularly fond of gardening and the outdoors. She raised orchids, was passionate about dogwoods and absolutely loved small animals.
