SHIRLEY A. COLVIS , 8 3 , of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 2:20 am, Sunday, July 19, 2020 at her residence.

She was born to the late Lee Brian and Ella Ruth (nee Peters) Miller on September 7, 1936 in Sparta, Illinois.

Shirley married Kenneth Colvis on June 28, 1955 at St. Mary’s Help of Christians Catholic Church, Chester, Illinois; he survives.

She was a homemaker.

Shirley was a member of St. Mary’s Church of Divine Maternity in Ellis Grove, Illinois. She was a member of Red Hat Society, Ladies Alter Sodality and was a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, sewing, cooking, playing the organ, and making porcelain dolls.
