SHIRLEY ANN DUNKER, 88, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 3:20 pm, Monday, January 29, 2024 at Parkwood Meadows Assisted Living, Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.
She was born to the late Alexander and Irene (nee Brown) Surman on July 30, 1935 in Chester, Illinois.
Shirley married Cletus A. Dunker on June 30, 1951 in Piggott, Arkansas; he preceded her in death on July 20, 1991.
In her younger years, Shirley had worked at the Shoe Factory in Evansville, and then had worked at Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation and Walmart.
Shirley was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois.
