SHIRLEY MAE SMITH , 9 0 , of Ruma, Illinois, passed away at 2:07 pm, Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, Illinois.

She was born to the late Arnold and Clara (nee Schmuck) Labruyere on July 18, 1930 in Modoc, Illinois.

She married Melvin Mudd at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois; he preceded her in death on December 14, 2003. She then married Lloyd Smith and he preceded her in death on July 30, 2006.

She had been a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ruma, Illinois. She enjoyed quilting and playing bingo.
