Steven P. Blechle

STEVEN “CATFISH” BLECHLE, 64, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 1:52 pm, Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, Illinois.

He was born to the late Francis and Betty (nee Barnes) Blechle on April 26, 1957 in Chester, Illinois.

Steven had worked on the street department for the City of Chester for over 30 years.

He was of the Catholic Faith

It was Steven’s wish to be cremated.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 30, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery with Danny Miller officiating.
