He was born to the late Charles Robert and Loretta Mae (nee Smith) Stoker, Sr on September 28, 1958 in St. Louis, Missouri.

He had worked at Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation in McBride, Missouri for 10 years

Steven was a member of Grassy Hollow Baptist Church in Potosi, Missouri
