Steven A Zweigart

STEVEN A. ZWEIGART, 71, of Steeleville, Illinois, passed away at 6:20 pm, Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late Lewis E. and Martha M. (nee Kempfer) Zweigart on November 27, 1949 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Steven married Barbara Franklin on November 1, 1969 in Tilden, Illinois; she survives.

He was a coal miner for Peabody Coal Company for 22 years.

He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Evansville, Illinois. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #1172 in Evansville and the National Rifle Association. Steven was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Steven was a Vietnam War Army Veteran.
