Terry Lee Laurent

TERRY LEE LAURENT , 65 of Ruma, Illinois, passed away at 4:09 pm, Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born to Robert J. and Doris M. (nee Tockstein) Laurent on September 28, 1959 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Terry married the love of his life, Tammy McBride, on December 16, 1984 in Fort Smith, Arkansas; she survives.

In life, Terry spent 39 years with the Union Pacific Railroad. Since retirement, he has enjoyed brightening up the area with his beautiful flowers and the annual Ruma Light Show. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, winning numerous awards for his Big Bear Chopper. He loved spending time with his kids and grandsons. A “jack” of all trades, he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
