Theresa Ann Rymer

THERESA ANN RYMER, 75, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 5:29 pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, O’Fallon, Illinois.

She was born to the late Cecil M. and Virginia M. (nee Franklin) Erwin, Jr. on August 29, 1950 in Carbondale, Illinois.

Theresa had worked as a nurse for 17 years at Memorial Hospital in Chester, Illinois until her retirement in 2014.

She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and playing with her dog Daisy.

        Devon Eggers, Ethan Rayburn, Alyvia Rayburn, Camrynn Howie, Brooke Howie, Mason Howie, Rush Fortner, Blaire Rymer, Blaike Rymer and Banks Rymer

   1 Great Grandchild: 

        Amelia Rayburn

Preceded in Death by: Parents, Husband and 2 Brothers – Ron and Steve Erwin

It was Theresa’s wish to be cremated.
