Timothy "Tim" J Voss

TIMOTHY “TIM” J. VOSS , 55, of Waterloo, Illinois, passed away at 3:20 pm, Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Red Bud Regional Hospital, Red Bud, Illinois.

He was born to the late Harry and Jean (nee Junge) Voss on April 15, 1968 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Tim married Deborah Grohmann on September 20, 1991 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Red Bud, Illinois; she survives.

Tim worked as a technology team leader at The Material Works in Red Bud, Illinois for 35 years. He was also involved with Voss Auctions, LLC for many years.

He was a member of Frieden’s United Church of Christ in Hecker, Illinois. Tim was very involved with his church; from mowing the lawn to fixing anything.

Tim enjoyed hunting, gardening, fishing, his tractors, mechanical work on lawnmower, and being the “go-to” person to fix anything. His favorite role was being a grandpa. Tim never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.
