TONY G. COLVIS, 63, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:28 am, Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late Kenneth and Shirley (nee Miller) Colvis on October 26, 1957 in Red Bud, Illinois.

Tony married Rita Bowen on May 30, 2008 in Hillsboro, Missouri; she survives.

He had worked as a carpenter for over 40 years. Tony had also worked for 11 years at Moore & Wittenborn’s grocery store.

Tony was a member of St. Mary’s of Divine Maternity Church in Ellis Grove, Illinois. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus #3790 and the Carpenter’s Local #1361 in Chester. Tony was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, boating and gardening.
