Tracey A Hobeck

TRACEY A. HOBECK, 60, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 12:40 am, Friday, January 2, 2026 at his residence.

He was born to the late Carl W. and Patricia L. (nee McDaniel) Hobeck on September 1, 1965 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Tracey had worked as a supervisor at Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation and then worked for Sides Metal Recycling in Chester until his retirement.

He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his friends and family. Tracey was also a collector of eagles and Harley Davidson memorabilia.

Preceded in Death by: Father

It was Tracey’s wish to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
