VERDELLE MEYER, 93, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:05 pm, Monday, December 12, 2022 at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pinckneyville, Illinois.

She was born to the late Andy and Selma (nee Welge) Bert, Sr. on March 27, 1929 in Chester, Illinois.

Verdelle married Walter Meyer on June 28, 1952 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on September 24, 2001.

She had worked in housekeeping for Sparta Community Hospital.

Verdelle was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sparta, Illinois.
