VIOLET MAE FEAMAN, 99, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away peacefully at 5:15 pm, Friday, July 26, 2024 at Three Springs Senior Living and Rehabilitation, Chester, Illinois.
She was born to the late Walter Thomas and Sara Lee Verna May (nee Stout) Burris on November 26, 1924 in Belknap, Illinois.
Violet married Quincy L. Feaman on November 10, 1977 in Ellis Grove, Illinois; he preceded her in death on November 15, 1993.
She had worked as a teacher in New Burnside, Illinois as well as Ellis Grove Elementary School. After retirement, Violet spent many years volunteering for the Hospital Auxiliary.
Violet was a member of First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove, Illinois where she played the piano and the organ for many years. She was also a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Violet enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to fellowship with others.
