Virginia L. Moore

VIRGINIA L. MOORE, 90, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 5:25 am, Friday, May 24, 2019 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Missouri.

She was born to the late Charles A., Sr. and Hazel (nee Cotton) Moore on October 16, 1928 in Claryville, Missouri.

Virginia married Vince J. Moore on January 18, 1947 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on May 11, 2004.

She had worked at Moore & Wittenborn Thriftway for over 25 years.

Virginia was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chester. She was also a member of the St. Mary’s Ladies Altar Sodality.
