WARREN “ S ONNY ” G. ALLISO N, 72, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 7:40 pm, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at his residence.
He was born to the late Warren and Mary (nee Brinkley) Allison on April 2, 1948 in Saltville, Virginia.
Warren married Betty Buescher on April 12, 1969 at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Red Bud, Illinois; she preceded him in death on December 1, 2015.
He had worked as a coal miner for Peabody Coal for more than 20 years.
He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Red Bud, Illinois., U.M.W.A. and River Road Cruisers. He enjoyed doing leather work, especially making saddles. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and a cup of coffee.
He was a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran.
