Wayne J Steibel

WAYNE J. STEIBEL, 80, of Evansville, Illinois, passed away at 10:36 pm, Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late Clarence and Mildred (nee Deterding) Steibel on March 31, 1943 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois.

Wayne married Charlotte Heck on January 27, 1962 at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ruma, Illinois; she survives.

Wayne was a farmer and owned Steibel Auto Body in Ruma from 1981-2009.

He was a member St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ruma, Illinois. Wayne was the crew chief on a drag car team for 13 years. He was also a member of Hart-Parr Oliver Collector’s Association where he served as Vice President for 8 years and a member of the Pontiac Oakland Club International. Wayne was also a life member of the NRA.
