William "Bill" Paul Gallagher

WILLIAM “BILL” P AUL GALLAGHER , 81 , of Prairie du Rocher , Illinois, passed away at 12:02 am, Mon day, January 18 , 2021 at Oak Hill in Waterloo, Illinois.

He was born to the late James and Mary (nee Duckworth) Gallagher on April 10, 1939 in Adrian, Michigan.

Bill married Ruth Zeiger on April 10, 1978 in Belleville, Illinois; she survives.

He had worked as a welder for Shipbuilders and Pipe Fitting in St. Louis and Michigan for 30 years.

Bill was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Renault, Illinois. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #622 in Prairie du Rocher. He enjoyed playing the keyboard and ride his motorcycle. Bill’s pride and joy was his talking parrot.

He was a Navy Veteran.
