Wilma S. Junge

WILMA S. JUNGE, 91, of Red Bud, Illinois, passed away at 7:00 am, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Red Bud Regional Care, Red Bud, Illinois.

She was born to the late August G. and Selma (nee Koester) Fuhrhop on March 14, 1927 in Walsh, Illinois.

Wilma married Vernon F. Junge on April 24, 1949 at St. John Lutheran Church, Baldwin, Illinois; he preceded her in death on January 2, 1992.

She had worked at the International Shoe Company. After she married Vernon and started a family, she became a homemaker and seamstress.

Wilma was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Baldwin, Illinois. She was very active in church and had been the Sunday School Superintended for 40 years, a member of the Altar Guild and sang in the church choir. She had also been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Baldwin and the Randolph County Home Extension.
