Wilma Marie Larose

WILMA MARIE LAROSE, 87, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 1:11 pm, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at her residence.

She was born to the late Albert and Emma (nee Childers) Kuehne on May 4, 1934 in Raddle, Illinois.

Wilma married Merlin E. LaRose on August 27, 1955 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on September 7, 2020.

Wilma was a homemaker for most of her life. In her earlier years she had worked at the International Shoe Factory and Prim Hosiery in Chester, Illinois. Later in life she had worked at Walmart and was a cook at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Chester.

She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois. Wilma was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Chester. She loved to play bingo, sew and was a great cook.
