ROBERT "Bob" JAMES BUTZ, 66, of Chester, IL passed away at 8:34 am on Sunday February 24, 2013, at his home in Chester, IL. He was born to James and Barbara (nee: Wood) Butz on April 28, 1946 in Morris, IL. Bob was a Tool & Die Machinist for Catepillar in Joliet for 33 years. For over 10 years he has been known as "Bob in Sporting Goods" at the Chester Walmart. He was of the Christian faith. He was a member of the Mississippi Valley Gun Club. Survivors: Mother: Barbara Butz Morris, IL 2 Children: Eric (April) Butz Chester, IL Kaye Butz (Fiancé Fred Guebert) Chester, IL 5 Grandchildren: Chanda, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Samantha and James "JD" 1 Great Grandchild on the way 2 Brothers: Rick (Ellen) Butz Blue Mountain Lake, NY and daughter - Julliana David (Kathy) Butz Washington, DC and daughter Kimberly 2 Nieces: Jenny & Cori - daughters of Patricia Day (deceased) Girlfriend: Linda Straight Chester, IL and daughters - Michelle and Stacey Preceded in death by: Father - James Butz, Grandparents and 1 Sister - Patricia Day It was Robert's wish to be cremated Service in Chester: Visitation: Saturday, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, IL Memorial Service: 2:00 pm Saturday March 2, 2013 Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, IL Officiating: Rev.
