He was born to the late Donald A. and Mary Lou (nee Booth) Johnson on July 28, 1964 in Jerseyville, IL. He was a Diesel Mechanic for Gilster-Mary Lee. He was an avid fisherman and loved being with his wife, children and family. He was an Army Veteran.
