Glen E. Misselhorn

GLEN E. MISSELHORN, 93, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 8:03 pm, Monday, February 24, 2025 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to the late Rudy and Mona (nee Draves) Misselhorn on June 21, 1931 in Chester, Illinois.

Glen married Carletta Nordmeyer on May 14, 1960; she survives.

He had worked as an insurance agent for Miller’s Mutual Insurance until opening his own practice.

Glen was of Christian Faith. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #1629, the Rotary Club and Breezy Hill RC Flyers. Glen enjoyed working on cars and flying his airplanes.

He was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Son: Grady Misselhorn Carbondale, IL

Niece: Karen (Marty) Bert Chester, IL

Preceded in Death by:  Parents and 2 Brothers – Olin and Don Misselhorn

It was Glen’s wish to be cremated.

Memorials may be made in Glen’s honor to the family and are being accepted at Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester.
