She was born to the late Walter W. and Opal (nee Byrd) Spinnie on May 11, 1944 in Coulterville, Illinois.
Nola married Dennis Fischer on January 7, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri; he survives.
Nola had worked as a counselor at the Human Service Center in Red Bud, Illinois for over 5 years.
Nola was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Red Bud, Illinois. She enjoyed painting and attending to her flowers outside.
